Inviting Members

Navigate to Approval Set Members

In the Web App:

1. Click Approval Sets in the sidebar
2. Select the approval set you want to add members to
3. Click the Members tab
4. Click the Invite button

Start Invitation

When you click Invite:

1. An invitation lobby is created
2. A QR code is displayed for new members to scan

Add New Members

Have New Members Scan

For each new member:

1. They open the SplitSecure app on their mobile device
2. They tap the scan button
3. They point their camera at the QR code on your screen

Alternatively, share the lobby code verbally if they can’t see your screen.

Verify and Include Members

As new members join:

1. Their devices appear in the members table
2. Toggle the switch to include them in the invitation
3. Enter their email address for identification

Click Next when all new members have been added.

Assign Shares

Choose how many shares each new member receives:

Review and Confirm

Review Invitation Details

The review page shows:

• New members being added
• Their email addresses
• Share allocations for each new member

Verify all information is correct.

Submit for Approval

1. Click Confirm to submit the invitation
2. A threshold proposal is created
3. Existing approval set members must approve the invitation

Wait for Threshold Approval

The progress page shows:

• Which existing members have approved
• Which are still pending
• Overall invitation status

Once the required threshold is reached, new members receive their shares.

New Member Acceptance

Notification Received

After approval, each new member:

1. Receives a notification on their mobile device
2. Opens the SplitSecure app
3. Reviews the approval set invitation details

Accept Membership

New members complete joining by:

1. Reviewing the approval set they’re joining
2. Tapping Accept to confirm
3. Receiving their threshold shares

Once accepted, they appear as full approval set members.
